RichardNieves.com closed

Today Rich ended his site: www.richardnieves.com

He says he no longer will be doing photography for profit but rather continue his efforts with Harbor 27 Studio. "It was a great project to work on" Rich says, "but I won't miss it a bit. While I will continue to take photos when traveling they will just simply be for my enjoyment and not for profit. Nevertheless, I will continue my instagram page richnieves_sso showing some awesome locations I have visited."

We welcome Rich's full and undivided dedication to our team.

NOTE: As for his site www.richardnieves.com it is out for anyone to grab so please, if you go into it and there is something inappropriate be assured that does not belong to our Richard Nieves!!

Whaaa? JarsPlanet on sale for $1,895?

True, JarsPlanet.com is for sale by HugeDomain.com. Seems they saw the opportunity and seized it. As soon as I received the last notification from my ISP and ignored it (as planned) I noticed a few days later the site went black and then HugeDomain got it. They were watching that name, lol. Anyway, why would someone buy that name? Well as I said in my previous blog (Jarsplanet.com closing) I named Jarsplanet for Joey, Ana, Richard's Planet, so is it usable for someone else? Of course! JAR is also a Java programming language file extension name, why you thought I loved naming it JAR? It stands for Jara Archive. OR, if you are a Jar Jar Binks fan (I doubt it) there you go.

Jarsplanet.com closing

JarsPlanet.com is finally closing. Many of you have asked what of the content? I’ve decommissioned most of it. Some of the technology is no longer used. Other stuff I’ve included in this site. Originally JarsPlanet.com was a test site, and was not to be taken seriously. I would test some PHP, javascripts and JSON within SQL. Besides, there where lots of sites, maybe hundreds, offering the same information. So I decided to discontinue the use and park it and leave it with the default GoDaddy splash screen which should have active for a few more days.

For those that don’t know, JarsPlanet stands for Joel, Ana, Richard’s Planet - clear enough right?

JarsPlanet.com content is all gone. If you see new stuff on it after this weekend (8/24/2013) it’s not mine, someone else bought the site and started filling it with their new content.

RIP JARSPLANET
